Confirmation Classes

Confirmation classes are held each Wednesday afternoon throughout the school year. The public Rite of Confirmation, where students profess their faith and pledge faithfulness to Christ, occurs in the fall.

2017:  The confirmation class of 2017 consisted of seven boys and one girl. Each week they studied with Pastor Byan (Interim pastor) and were assisted by Marcy Johnson. They provided community service by helping feed the hungry in Eau Claire and visiting nursing home residents in Fall Creek. This year they focused their study on the Ten Commandments, the Creeds, and the Lord’s Prayer. Marcy describes them as happy, busy and very bright. What a wonderful group of students!

2016:  The confirmation class of 2016 spent a lot of joyful time together learning, playing, praying, and sharing their faith with others. They participated in community activities such as helping with supply bags for the homeless and serving a meal at the “Community Table”.   Several of them volunteered to help decorate for meals at church, and lead skits during worship.  They are a talented crew!  They also contributed to Sunday morning worship services by reading lessons, and serving as acolytes.
