At St. James Trinity, we offer several ways to stay involved outside of the weekly worship on Sundays. Here are just a few ways:
Lectionary Bible Study
Pastor Rick is teaching a weekly Lectionary Bible Study on Tuesdays from 10am-11am in the Fellowship Hall. This is for everyone no matter what your Bible background. You may bring your own Bible or one can be provided. We will look at the gospel lesson assigned for the upcoming Sunday. You can find the gospel lessons in the devotional book, “Christ in our Home” or the Evangelical Lutheran Worship hymnal. We are in year “B”.
Our confirmation classes are for 7th and 8th graders, with confirmation Sunday in the fall of 9th grade. We study a combination of Bible history, Lutheran basics, foundations of faith and practice. Class meets after school on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 pm.
Women of the ELCA
Women of the church meet periodically for Bible Study and event planning.
St. James & Friends
Group meets for lunch monthly.
Sunday School now “Faith & Fun”
(Sundays during worship)
Children ages Pre-School to 6th grade are welcome to attend Faith & Fun where they can learn about the Word of God in several ways including bible study, games, crafts and video formats.
